March Newsletter

March 2012

Hi WEBSITE

Can you believe it's March already?  It feels like a year's worth has already been packed into 2 months.  No matter how many exciting adventures are on the horizon however (in my house there has been new working contracts with Archery Australia (check out my bullseye shot), Olympic preparation, new staff members added to the business, and 12 airplane trips between us), I never lose sight of the core joy I experience inside of my relationship.  Extra planning and mindfulness is required as things get busier but if the core desire remains intact, growth actually brings you together rather than drives you apart.

The game suggested for March may have some of you balking at "where would I find the time" but I can tell you that merely getting started grounds you and brings a nice reprieve in the stormy bluster that daily life can deliver.

Check out my blog message on Whitney Houston's Top Hit 'The Greatest Love of All' whether you were a fan of hers or not. It's more about what she represented and how her life and death can serve as a call to us all to accept ourselves as we are rather than trying to fix, alter or manage ourselves. The delicate balance between self-improvement and acceptance in the moment can be so cloudy for some that they slip into the waters of their bath for some peace. Enter the blog inquiry so we may all grow together.

I'm loving all your email comments to me and would love to see some of the comments posted to the BLOG instead. I appreciate the community that is amassing itself. Enjoy this month's thoughts and reflections!

GET JIGGY WITH IT

This month's game is a simple pleasure that many of us remember as kid's but somehow became "too busy" for as adults. Well, I've decided to resurrect this dinosaur and spin it for relational enjoyment. The instructions are straightforward for this month's game: Buy a 500 to 1000 piece puzzle at the local store and find a coffee table to take over for the next month. I recommend the latest in puzzle-dom called WASGIJ (http://www.wasgij.com/), the UK phenomenon where the puzzle picture is merely a clue to what the actual puzzle looks like. Added mystery and fun for the puzzle maker.
